The same six states are used everywhere in the product, alongside confidence levels, timestamps, evidence counts, Record IDs, and source types.

Confirmed against an authoritative Record.
- Supported
Backed by one or more identified sources.
- Needs Evidence
Represented, but weakly sourced.
- Conflicting
Sources disagree on the value.
- Stale
Older than the freshness window for its type.
- Unknown
Claimed with no identified source.

CitableEngine cannot currently publish to, control, or guarantee citations from third-party AI or search platforms. Every Record, fact, score, evidence item, and answer shown on this site is demonstration data created for illustration.
